Privacy Policy

SmartShopper respects your privacy. This policy explains how information may be used when you use the SmartShopper mobile application and website.
Information the app may use
- Location: With your permission, SmartShopper uses your approximate or precise location to find nearby grocery stores and provide location-relevant results.
- Camera: With your permission, SmartShopper uses the camera to scan product barcodes. Camera access is not used for advertising.
- Shopping-list information: Items and preferences may be stored on your device to support app features.
- Technical requests: Search terms, store selections, and location-related requests may be transmitted to service providers needed to return product or nearby-store results.
How information is used
Information is used only to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve SmartShopper features. SmartShopper does not sell your personal information.
Third-party services
SmartShopper may rely on third-party providers for product information, mapping, nearby-store results, hosting, or related app functionality. Those providers may process limited information needed to fulfill a request under their own privacy practices.
Data retention and deletion
Information stored locally can generally be removed by deleting saved items, changing app settings, or deleting the app. To request help with privacy or data questions, contact the support email below.
Children's privacy
SmartShopper is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as SmartShopper changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are made.

Price Information
Prices shown in SmartShopper are provided for convenience and may change at any time. Actual prices, taxes, promotions, and availability are determined by each retailer.
Product Availability
SmartShopper cannot guarantee that products shown in the app are in stock or available at your selected store.
Use of the App
You agree to use SmartShopper only for lawful personal use. You may not attempt to interfere with the operation of the app or misuse any information provided.
Third-Party Retailers
SmartShopper may display information from third-party grocery retailers. Purchases are completed directly with those retailers, and SmartShopper is not responsible for pricing, inventory, delivery, or customer service provided by them.
Disclaimer
SmartShopper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all pricing information is current or error free.
Limitation of Liability
SmartShopper shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of the application or reliance on pricing information displayed within the app.
